"Shiba Inu" Sun Dried Black Tea Cake
This is a truly special black tea, harvested from wild-grown trees that are over a century old. They thrive naturally on the remote Ku Zhu Mountain in Yunnan, where the environment gives the leaves an incredible depth and minerality.
Instead of being machine-dried, this tea is finished in the sun, a traditional method that opens up its fragrance and creates a wonderfully smooth, rounded character. The result is a rich, juicy brew with notes of wildflower honey, ripe stone fruit, and a hint of orange zest. It has a satisfying, full body that stands up beautifully to many infusions, evolving from bold and complex to a lighter, sweeter finish.
While it's absolutely delicious right now, this tea is also built to age. Over the next few years, its honeyed fruit notes will deepen and the texture will become even silkier. A rare chance to experience a living tea that will only get better with time.
