Developed over several years under supervision from White2Tea, Predawn Dark is a curated blend of small-batch ripe Puer teas. Following an initial fermentation of their own raw material, the tea traveled to Fujian province in 2022, where veteran Wuyi Yancha artisans hand-roasted it over charcoal. After a necessary period of rest, it was pressed into cakes in Yunnan in early 2023.
The result is a profile rich with molasses, deep forest floor notes, and amplified dark fruit aromatics. Unlike standard shou, the fragrances leap from the cup while maintaining a dense, heavy body—making it a perfect daily drinker.
